From Monterey, take CA1S to Carmel-by-the-Sea and the junction with Carmel Valley Road (County Road G16); turn left on G16; continue on G16 to the junction with G17; turn left on G17; continue on G17 to the junction with CA68; turn left on CA68; continue on CA68W to CA1; turn left on CA1S and continue on to Monterey.
