Soldiers Angels has been supporting our nation's military men and women since 2003. Our mission is to provide aid and comfort to the military and its families, provide immediate response to hard situations, and make sure no soldier feels unloved. We start with letters, care packages and comfort items to our deployed. We also help their families here at home as requested. Through special projects, dedicated teams and individuals supporting our troops locally, we strive to make a difference in the lives of our soldiers. In October 2007, the Sacramento VA team began working in partnership with the VA Northern California Health Care System to be a bridge from the caring, concerned Sacramento community to the wounded and homeless veterans in need of our help. We receive no government or United Way funding and rely solely on your donations to make sure no veteran is forgotten.

Kim and her husband have raised American Quarter Horses for about 20 years -their horses specialize in cutting and reining.
Kim considers herself a moderate conservative, a huge patriot, and an adamant supporter of our men and women in the military. She enjoys volunteering and enjoys being involved in her Church. She and John recently finished building a home in Lodi, and are glad to have that undertaking finished!
Since the onset of the Iraq war, Kim has sponsored 6 soldiers through Soldiers’ Angels and have found it to be extremely rewarding. “I hope there comes a day soon when that won’t even be necessary, but until then we’ll keep pressing on!” She can be reached at kim@sbqh.com. |
