Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension Benefit Assistance Options
|
|
Recently, we found a need to help our Veterans file paperwork for the Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension Benefit — www.veteransaidbenefit.org. This benefit provides monthly payments to veterans and their spouses who have high out-of-pocket medical costs and who are disabled or homebound, to help them offset health care expenses.
Below is a list of resources to help you determine if you qualify for the benefit and then help you file it. This list is not meant to reflect an endorsement, nor a request by the parties for advertising. I’m merely listing the information to help any other Veterans who might need assistance. |

If Veterans have any questions on what is considered a Medical expense, what is an Aid & Attendance form, or how to do it, that is what our office does. We complete the paper work for them. All they have to do is give us the information and sign their name we do the rest. We become their case managers.
One thing that we have to be very careful about is that some of the “PROFESSIONALS” charge. How they do that is that they say that they charge only for the financial planning, but they will do the VA Pension Claim at the same time. You can rest assure that that may not be down on paper that so many $$ are charged for the VA Pension paperwork but it is definitely figured in. Because if you do not know what you are doing by the time all the information is gathered regarding the claim you have spent several hours on the VA Pension Claim. I can not tell you how many times we have had to clean up the VA Pension Claim messes that the so called PROFESSIONALS did.
